– Exempts BOR from Hawai‘i public procurement code requirements. UH did not get
back the procurement exemption but will continue to resubmit it to the next

Stadium –Creates the UH stadium corporation and transfers jurisdiction over the
Aloha Stadium to the corporation.

Glenn Okimoto is the new
UH Budget Office director.

One of
UH Budget Office's responsibility is to keep track of position count. Historically, reorganizations have been
handled by the Budget Office although the extent of role was not clearly
defined. Glenn is undertaking the challenge of clarifying the role of the UH
Budget Office.

The EEO/AA Office offers an interactive web-based course for all faculty,
students and staff of the UH System. The self-paced program takes about 60
minutes to complete and provides a convenient opportunity to learn about sexual
harassment and how to prevent it.
